TALON METALS REPORTS RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2020

Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands (March 30, 2021) – Talon Metals Corp. (“Talon” or the “Company”) (TSX:TLO) reported a net loss for the year ended December 31, 2020 of $2.7 million or $0.01 per share (basic and diluted), which was primarily the result of administration expenses. 

This compares to a net loss for the year ended December 31, 2019 of $4.0 million or $0.01 per share (basic and diluted), which was primarily the result of administration expenses, stock option compensation and a loss on the fair value revaluation of the Resource Capital Fund VI L.P. unsecured convertible loan. 

Capitalized exploration costs and deferred expenditures on the Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project for the year ended December 31, 2020 amounted to $10.4 million.  This compares to $17.3 million for the year ended December 31, 2019.  The total capitalized exploration cost on the Tamarack Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Project to December 31, 2020 amounts to $60.8 million.
