Talon Metals Reports Results for the Year Ended December 31, 2007

Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands (Mar 28, 2008) – Talon Metals Corp., formerly BrazMin Corp., (“Talon” or the “Company”) (TSX: TLO) reported net income for the year ended December 31, 2007 of $6,753,593 or $0.25 per share – basic and diluted (2006: net loss of $1,976,205 or $0.08 per share – basic and diluted). In 2007 net income was primarily due to gains on mineral properties and investments, with the largest gain a result of the sale of the Tocantinzinho Gold Project in the first quarter.

For the three month period ended December 31, 2007 Talon reported a net loss of $1,722,479 or $0.06 per share – basic and diluted. (2006: net loss of $793,500 or $0.03 per share – basic and diluted).

Capitalized exploration for the year amounted to $2,091,976 (total to date is $8,797,395) and mainly reflects work performed on the Água Branca Gold Project in Pará State, Brazil.
