BrazMin Clarifies Title Ownership on its São Jorge Property, Pará State, Brazil

Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands (May 5, 2006) – BrazMin Corp. (“BrazMin” or the “Company”) (TSX: BZM) ”) has learned that certain incomplete and misleading statements have been released into the public domain respecting its ownership of the title to certain of the mineral rights at the Company’s key asset, the São Jorge Gold Project, located in Pará State, Brazil.

To clarify any misunderstandings concerning BrazMin’s ownership position, BrazMin announces that it received a title opinion in February 2006 from the Company’s legal advisors in Brazil, which clearly states that BrazMin has valid title to all the relevant permits and licences constituting the São Jorge property and that any irregularities currently identified with respect to a permit or licence does not adversely affect the overall title.
